Wiltipoll sheep are bred on Mary and Alick Wilkinson’s 62ha property mid-way between Macclesfield and Strathalbyn in South Australia. We share the land with the local flora and fauna, our dogs, chooks, alpacas and the Wiltipoll sheep.
The property is self-sufficient for power and water. Power is provided by the sun and the wind - no connection to the grid.
Rainwater for domestic needs is collected from the house and shed - no mains connection here either. Water for the Wiltipolls is provided from a bore equipped with a solar powered pump.
